Drum roll, please…Pantone’s 2015 Color of the Year was revealed recently. Marsala, a rich and earthy red-brown, has had some mixed reviews. Some have been gushing about the hue, while others have not shared the enthusiasm. Regardless, this wine inspired color received a lot of hype.
Pantone describes Marsala as “a naturally robust and earthy wine red,” that has the strength and sophistication to stand on its own, or as an accent color. The more I see of it, the more the color grows on me, especially with some of the fantastic uses that I’ve seen popping up over the last few weeks.
